300 ml This junmai is a great
introduction to saké. It is earthy and mushroomy in the
nose but reveals light, fresh notes of grapefruit and melon
on the palate. Its structure is open and dynamic, its body light,
its finish crisp and clean. It is best served chilled and complements
flavorful foods like cooked Japanese food and French or new
American. |
Watari
Bune – Junmai Ginjo 55 –
300 ml Watari Bune, the rice
used to make this saké, is one of the only pure strains
of saké rice being used today. This junmai ginjo has
rich and deep notes of honeydew and pineapple offset by nutty
and earthy flavors. |
Yuki
No Bosha – Junmai Daiginjo –
720 ml Light, open, airy, and
elegant, this junmai daiginjo has notes of green apple and prunes
that fade into a slim, clean finish. This saké should
be served chilled but also appreciated at room temperature.
It is a perfect match for sushi and sashimi, as well as elegantly
prepared fish and white meats.
